Give me that FX slot at 11. Then I can see the game for sure, right in the comfort of my living room.
Get the sports pack...non issue.

Everyone in Iowa is free and clear on Sept. 1. All baseball teams in the "area" play after ISU-Tulsa.
Sept. 1 - MLB
Cubs - 3:05 (Fox)
White Sox - 6:05 (WGN)
Cardinals - 6:05 (FS Midwest)
Twins/Royals - 6:10 (FS North)
Brewers - 6:10 (FS Wisconsin)

Not es tas or welch ave station, unless you can take some drunken college ribbing.
Re: Tulsa at ISU 2:30 kick on FSN?
I would prefer a 7pm game because that just seems like the right way to begin the season. However, it is fun to tailgate in the morning. It opens all sorts of opportunities for food and drink other than what we usually have. But I would prefer to have those things after a few afternoon and evening games.

Post game tailgate with a TV, that way you don't have to leave the parking lots and can continue drinking cheap beer and eating free food.
Re: Tulsa at ISU 2:30 kick on FSN?
Anyone got any ideas on how to have a cheap morning tailgate that would involve breakfast items?
Also one of my buddies who used to give me crap for going to ISU will be coming to this game and maybe 2-3 more this year. He usually comes up for 1 game, but says the atmosphere before and during an ISU FB game is awesome. So keep the awesome atmosphere coming!

We usually do breakfast burritos, night before cook up eggs, sausage and potatoes, put together the burritos and wrap em in foil, as soon as we have the grill going in the morning just throw em on the top rack til they're warm. But I agree with CyDude16 a case of beer is just as important.

Toast from my toaster that burns the I-State logo on the bread! Mimosas. Bloody Marys.

Not a bad idea at all for breakfast burritos. And of course I'll have the case of beer. It's an essential for the college football lifestyle.

7 pm for the western ill game kind of blows. I don't know what prime time game would be on that week, but I generally like watching the game on abc at 7. Oh well...
