    Chris,

    kansas state has not played in Ames since 2007

    '07 home win vs K-state (chizik)
    '08 @KSU (arnaud had 440 yards passing)
    '09 @Arrowhead (blocked XP)
    '10 @Arrowhead (missed ARob late for game-tieing touchdown)
    '11 @K-state last season

    Also: regarding the "Bill Snyder has our number, etc."

    I thought the same thing before playing iowa this last fall. We had seen Nothing to give us really any legitimate hope of us pulling off an upset. 35-3 and 35-7 blowouts gave me no indication our clones could beat those guys. I had hope, but I certainly wasn't confident.

    Year to year, things change these days in college football. I'll just leave yall with a Lou Holtz quote, "Remember, we don't have to be the best team in the nation, just the best team in the stadium." Whoever shows up to play that day and has prepared themselves to win, will do so. Kansas state does a great job of being just good enough to win ball games, so this game makes me nervous. The good news, ISU was also just good enough to win a handful of games last year.

    Should be a really, really good football game and I can't wait.
