The student section was pretty full if I remember correctly. The Athletic Dept did a great promotion for $5 tickets to ANY college student from any college in Iowa, so I knew a bunch of buddies who ended up coming to the game! Never will forget this game.

Thanks! It was was the best sporting event I've been at and I have probably watched the 4th quarter and OT dozens of times.

I really think Paul Rhoads is going to take Iowa State football to new places. It won't be a smooth ride, but it will sure be a fun one.

Looking forward to having you guys in Ames in November.

Unfortunately I let fear of being blown out (and difficulty getting a babysitter) discourage me from seeing the game in person.

Ooops. I did enjoy watching the game on TV immensly though.

I think you guys have a good shot. Watching that game the other night you sure know how to get your place rocking. If you are gonna beat us you're going to have to beat our A game though...you all have too much of a reputation now for knocking off folks. I think we come in ready.

Yeah, we wont be catching too many teams napping anymore.

I doubt this, the players are going to be cocky even if their coach tells them not to be.

True, it happens every year in college football. Someone loses to a team that they think they are better than.

However, as ISU increases their repuration as giant killers, there will be a few players who will take us seriously unlike in years past.

The best thing about that game was never really feeling that we didn't have a shot in it. When we got down by 17, I was thinking, "man we can still get back in this thing."
It was a weird, goosebump, feeling that night at the Jack. It was like it was almost expected to happen the way it did if you were sitting there.
