Re: Eer fan view of ISU v OSU
I am so glad I was able to get the day off so I could make the drive over and watch the game. The weather was incredible for late November which made it all the more enjoyable.
My voice was raspy for about 3 days from yelling so much.
They say country music speaks to the heart. Unfortunately, it has to go through your ears to get there. -

It was a weird, goosebump, feeling that night at the Jack. It was like it was almost expected to happen the way it did if you were sitting there. God is a bama fan? -

Agree. I felt exactly the same way that night.

A couple of those things didn't happen.

Yes, indeed. We have had plenty of games like this before where you just dread what is going to happen next as we get pounded. But it was different that night.
I watched the replay last week and even the TV announcers were saying "there's something special in the air." And they were saying it even before we started scoring in the second half.
"Weird, goosebump, feeling" is absolutely right!
As I left the office that day to set up my tailgate, the last thing I heard was my boss (a bandwagon EIU fan) saying "Why waste your time going to a game you're gonna lose by hundred points?" I said, "You have to play these games to win them and you have to go to see us win them." . . . ahem . . . last laugh!

Is this the same one for which we helped you plan your Chicago trip? I didn't expect her to be the "roll her eyes" type. -
