Pre Two a Days Safeties
Safeties Knowns Jacques Washington may not be an "elite" athlete—but he’s everything else that CPR wants in a safety. Durrell Givens is athletic, and got experience last season. Jared Brackens is also athletic, and in a position to step into the role Givens had last fall. Deon Broomfield has experience at nickel. T.J. Mutcherson is “a football player”. Questions Is one or more of these guys a ballhawking playmaker? Will Mutcherson redshirt? Mystery Meat Darian Cotton could have used the rest of the Spring he lost to injury, but I have a feeling he will end up showing up his older brother. How closely will Luke Knott emulate his older brother? Rogers may wind up here. Mutcherson…well, hey. He’s just going to be out there hitting people. Some day. tentative grade: 8.5-9.0 *Lots of depth here—but the only surprises would likely be due to injury. Let’s avoid that!

I didn't like how much Washington jawed last year. It hurt us a few times with unnecessary penalties.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I remember it being more Benton and LJ getting the unnecessary penalties. I could be forgetting Washingtons though

The one that sticks out to me was him kicking the ball away from a ref and getting 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Re: Pre Two a Days Safeties
I hate the dumb penalties but last year's defense played with attitude and I don't see that changing. Hopefully they can keep the 15 yarders to a minimum.
I don't bring my own opinions, just attack others.
