Deace’s 2012 College Football Preview
People seem to either love 'em or hate 'em. I for one, really appreciate his perspective. Deace's 2012 College FB Preview was just posted today.
I enjoy the Top 25 things that will or won't happen this year. Also, see he has AJ Klein as 1st team All American.

fyi...In searching to be sure this wasn't posted already, I did find thread on his Big XII predictions he did earlier for CF: http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/...-forecast.html
Re: Deace’s 2012 College Football Preview
also has big 12 non conf upset of the year, Iowa State over Iowa
Re: Deace’s 2012 College Football Preview
^ Yes, forgot to note that.
Re: Deace’s 2012 College Football Preview
Good read. Though, 8th place in the conf won't play in the insight bowl.
Re: Deaces 2012 College Football Preview
I wonder how the prediction of Indiana over Iowa will be handled on the Easrern side of the state.
Re: Deace’s 2012 College Football Preview
Never would have thought Dantonio going to UT, but that's a good prediction.

He also says that Tennessee will fire their coach but later he has them finishing just outside of the Top 25. I know SEC fans, in general, are pretty rabid but I think a finish just outside the Top 25 would be a very positive improvement that they would be pleased with, given their poor performance the last several years.
When you make as extensive of a college football prediction for free as Deace does, I would expect there to be a few inconsistencies.
Re: Deace’s 2012 College Football Preview
I am always amazed at how much time this must take to put together every year.
Re: Deace’s 2012 College Football Preview
He predicts us to go to the Buffalo Wild Wings bowl (formerly Insight bowl). I wouldn't mind another trip to Tempe!
Re: Deace’s 2012 College Football Preview
I really enjoy Deace's college football analysis. He puts a ton of time and effort into this and I believe that he actually looks at each team in-depth not just the top 25.
My only comment might be where is Jake Knott on the AA list? Maybe Im biased but I expected to see him on one of the 3 AA teams.

That stuck out to me as well. Don't know how in the world that would happen.

I certainly think its in the realm of possibility that he could be right about Tennessee. Its somewhat hard to remember now, but Tennessee fans consider themselves among the college football elite. I don't know if they'd be satisfied with "showing improvement". From what I've read, they expect a top 25 year this year.

It is impressive how extensive it is. Quibbles here & there can obviously come about, but he goes deep into it all over the place.
