Maybe I didn't pay enough attention last year-are/were our tight ends really that bad?
I didn't pay all that much attention either, but I remember a few times where we passed to the TE and I thought, why don't we do this more. It seemed like the few times we did it, it worked. But that might also be due to they just weren't open often and weren't that good.
Nice effort, thanks Chris! I need to keep reading, but this caught my eye:
Sure, Josh Lenz is a quality senior who’s seen a lot of action. But after that, Jarvis West, Albert Gary, Chris Young and Aaron Horne are the only Iowa State wide receivers (on the current depth chart) who have seen any action at the Big 12 level.
Umm...let's think about this...you list five guys, and then can still say "only"? Then give them a 4 for depth? Maybe times have just changed around Ames, Ia.
Without question, this is the most talented and deepest group of wide receivers that Paul Rhoads has ever coached at Iowa State.
And...what grade did you give them for talent and depth? Curious.
