Interesting to see that they aren't letting Laing play through the spurs the way another DT did a couple of years ago--and ended up sitting half the time. Of course, IIRC.

Ummm...CPR usually speaks very specifically. So, what rookies, redshirts or recruits aren't academically eligible?

He said basically the same thing on the Murph and Andy show today.... but used a different phrase... he said all returning players were eligible

I would imagine if a recruit is in the roster, they qualified.

Probably has to do with 2 players ruled ineligible before the start of last season.

As far as the latter, there have been times they've pulled players listed on the roster all summer just as school started. I seem to recall a LB/DE that came in about the same time as Lattimer, who just disappeared from two-a-days.
