Re: Lenz, young WR's ready to shine
One of the best things going for our receivers is the variety of quality runners we have. If we can establish a consistent running game, things are going to get much more open for our receivers. And that will loosen the offense even more for the running. In the last few years, I haven't sensed that the defense felt stretched by our receivers. I think they will this year. And then a receiver like Josh Lenz will excel because the defense will be spread out and he can work his magic on the routes.
I like what I'm seeing both from the receivers and the runners. And each should help the other.

Darks, SJ, Reynolds and company appeard to have a lot more talent than the guys before them too.
For your shovel, would you like a fiberglass or wooden handle? Yeah, so you guys have the same argument with me that you all had when Jesse Smith left. I got a lot of flack for being confident in Knott and Klein.
Got a lot of flack in saying Jantz would beat out Tiller. My track record has been pretty good with these things, so I'll go ahead and trust my opinion still.

I told you it would be fine at LB in 2010 and that SJ would beat out Tiller. It is likely I will be correct again.

Obviously there were a few people who agreed, but the majority liked to argue against me on those points. A lot of people here think if they weren't good enough to beat them out at a young age, they can't have a better career.

And "you" would be people like him, making that same argument which was the same type as previous ones. More than likely the same people using the same arguments. Not really hard to comprehend, but I understand your struggles.

Expert in utilizing false authority for sure, but tell me again how the fact a few posters disagreed with us about those different situations means you are correct on this one?

Because it usually happens a few times a year... I'm confident in an area improving and it happens? Not guaranteed to happen, but so far its tend to work out more often than not.

I am not confident you comprehend enough his or your argument about this year to make a valid comparison to previous seasons.

I'm sorry that the opinions I've felt strongest about in the past ending up being right bothers you so much.

And I wasn't exactly targeting "him", I was targeting that same type of argument that hasn't worked out for those people using that same argument in the past.

I have yet to see your superior track record over those rebutting your claim in this thread in predicting area's that will improve. Is believing SJ will beat out Tiller even equatable to an area improving? ISUfan22 called you on your contradictions, so you moved on to false authority.
The OLine could be better. The returning starters undoubtedly should be better than they were last season. This will be diminished to some degree if the replacements for Hicks and KO have to not improved from last year. I am optimistic the "new" guys have improved this offseason. Not to a point where they are just as good as KO or Hicks, but to a point that the drop off is little enough to allow the "averaged OL play" to be better than last year.
Another factor is a lot of solid-to-good Oline play has been wasted the past few years. I expect the QB and RB play to be better, which will make the OL be more successful than last year. I would like to say the same for OC, but like the previous three years, I am still pessimistic that we will have a good scheme.

So your response to ISU22 successfully refuting the logic behind your claim is to remember an instance when some poster (not named ISU22) disagreed with you, about a contention (not very similar to this one) where you turned out correct? Yeah, still going with false authority on this one.

Since it appears you don't have much of a life anyways, you can go ahead and dig through all my posts since it seems to mean so much to you for some reason. In the meantime, I'm actually going to go do something.
