We were pretty lucky to get spots in the past but the few times we spent driving around were rather frustrating. Driving from Cedar Rapids for the early games made it challenging at times. Though leaving sucks sometimes. But then again, fire the grill back up and hope the cooler isn't empty -

Gold level.

Re: Parking problems
I am a bit suprised about some of the sour grapes . . .
If you didnt pay for something and you got upgraded in the past be thankful, the AD did you a favor by letting you in a lot that you didnt technically earn/deserve/pay for.
If you got moved from one cardinal level lot to another cardinal level lot chances are someone with more priority points or a higher donation level bumped you. Its not the AD's fault, its just how it is. If it were the other way around you would expect the same treatment.
I understand its not as easy as saying "donate more $$" because for some folks they are maxing out what they feel comfortable at and as I said before, I am thankful for each donor because every dollar helps support the University that I love. I think the AD is being more than fair with the way that they handle the parking pass arrangement and priority.

Re: Parking problems
We are very spoiled at ISU when it comes to parking around the stadium. There are a lot of stadiums where people would have to pay a lot of money to get the proximity and convenience of lot G7.

Re: Parking problems
At iowa you have to donate thousands to be near the stadium, at least through the university. Otherwise your parking like it's the east side and your going to the state fair.

This is so true. We have one of the best setups ever. It is shocking how little we pay to see and experience a Big 12 gameday.

my neighbor parks in front of the Carver Basketball arena. He said he pays 2500 to be on the list for that parking spot. not to mention what he pays to get his game tickets... These guys have thousands invested just for the parking.. and they are no closer than us in C4 and surrounding area.

Re: Parking problems
I really like G7. We have always had plenty of room to tailgate, but we like to get there early and get set up.
