Bill Bleil, gotta love the guy, but every single summer he's been here he's bragged about how it's the best OL he's ever had basically... and then they go out and underperform.
I hope he's right this year, but I will believe it when I see it.
Every other position coach on the interviews every year talks about how they aren't yet where they need to be and they need some work, but Bleil always talks like his OL is the best ever. I have yet to see it in games though, so we'll see. I hope he's right!
Considering the non-existent passing threat, I think we have seen it. They have only under-performed if the expectations were of NU of the mid-90s ...OL has been the least of our problems the past 3 years.Quote:
