I'll be in Sedona, AZ and am concerned I won't be able to find a place with the game AND serving booze at 9am. Hoping for FX broadcast as that will widen my options.

At $12.99 a month, the SportsPack is a giant waste on money for what it offers. The only reason I ever got the SportsPack was to be able to watch Fox College Sports, which maybe hosts 5 total Big 12 games each year. Since you used to be able to get all the FSN broadcast on Comcast 665 for free, and you can now get Big 12 Football for free on Fox Sports Midwest, I don't see the benefit of paying $150 a year for the SportsPack. On the outside chance that ISU plays on the road on Fox College Sports, Ill order the SportsPack, pay for it for a month, and cancel it. There are other FSN regionals that you wouldn't normally get without the Sportspack that often show other games.

You don't get FSN with the sports pack, there is no possible way to watch FSN on Mediacom in eastern Iowa. Previously we were able to get the games (whenever they weren't pre-empted by some preseason Bulls game) as simulcast on Comcast Sports Net Chicago.

Sedona? You can probably find it but you may have to drink wine. "There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr -

Re: Tulsa TV?
No more Comcast Chicago Big XII football? That really sucks. I get the Big 10 network for free with my cable subscription but I have to pay extra to watch my Big XII team in action. Thanks a lot. :(

Re: Tulsa TV?
Sports pack is good to avoid the pre-empting of games during NBA and Hockey preseason, as well as getting some of the Pac-12 late night games that do not get national carriage.

So your saying that my not only are my in-laws not allowing me to go to the game because of my nephews 1st birthday party, but because the party is in Cedar Rapids, they are also not allowing me to watch the game on TV???
