Tulsa TV?
18 days away and still no network? Is it too late to move the game to later in the day and away from the awful 11am start?

Here here!!! on the switch to the later start time. Who are we with these stupid 11 am starts anyways? The Hawkeyes? Them and the Big 10 can keep all those early start times for all I care. Talk about a buzz kill for tailgating.

Re: Tulsa TV?
Which amazes me because there are not many games that are as equally matched to start the season.

The 11:00 time is set. It will be on TV. The only question is which network (FX or FSN).

While tailgating after the game is decent, it never matches the pregame tailgating, especially if we come out with a loss (which we WON"T right?). Also, NOTHING replaces the sleep I'm going to miss getting up that early. I hate early mornings!!!!!!!
Good luck with your tailgate afterwards though. Personally, I'll be watching the Jones/Henderson UFC fight instead.

Re: Tulsa TV?
Morning games have no business being played at Jack Trice Stadium. Ever.
They need to go the way of the Dodo bird.

Re: Tulsa TV?
Look at the whole conference schedule, no TV networks for any Big 12-owned games yet (except our Black Friday game for some reason). Football - Schedule & Results - Big 12 Conference - Official Athletic Site
Usually by now, they have the first 3 weeks of TV networks/times out. Wasn't the rumor a few weeks ago that UT/LHN were holding it all up?

Re: Tulsa TV?
TV is usually set about 10 days before the game right?

Originally Posted by isuno1fan TV is usually set about 10 days before the game right? Its usually set 2 Mondays before each conference game, and ABC has a few options each year to utilize a 6-day pick where the games are picked the Sunday before each game. However, there are always a handful of conference games that are determined months before the season starts (so far only 1) and non-conference game times/TV are usually determined months before the season starts as well. The non-conference game times were announced very late this year, and obviously TV is even more late.
