Per Paul Rhoads' interview...He does not plan on naming a starting QB after this Saturday's scrimmage. Sounds like next Tuesday maybe. Stay tuned.

I hope Richardson performs well on Saturday.
Well he needs to hurry up. Whoever is going to be starter needs to get his reps in.
I know that's a point that has been beat into the ground and them some. But what is much more important is for the rest of the offense to have more than a few days to gel with one guy at QB. Right now the receivers have to accommodate the little differences between each guy, the running backs get the handoff from a different height and directions, stuff like that. Our entire season hinges on decent QB play. The more the team can gel with one guy in charge, the better chance we have of going bowling.Quote:

Maybe it's a ploy and he just doesn't want the media circus on Saturday. I can't see taking it into prep time for Tulsa unless he's gonna play them both until someone plays their way out of it in real games.

3rd, I don't think Richardson is completely out of the picture. If that's true, Rhoads might be waiting to see if he can step ahead of Jantz and Barnett.
I think Rhoads has his likely starter picked, but he isn't revealing it to the media yet
Would like to see at least a couple weeks before kick off for gelling together with one qb.
I personally think Richardson has a shot.
Wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if Richardson is the guy
