"Dead heat" at kicker per Paul Rhoads

Lets be honest, if we simply had a better offense the past decade we would probably think a lot more of our last couple kickers. But sadly we've had one of the worst offenses during that time span and we have had to rely on our kickers a lot more than most teams do to score points

How come Ubben over at ESPN hasn't picked up on this story?

It seems he does a weekly blog about how the sky is falling because ISU is the only team without a starter at QB named.

Well, let's be honest, we haven't had a good kicker forever, so I doubt we have 2 good kickers all of the sudden. Scary

He's just trying to see if the walk on is good enough to cover the duties while Netten takes a RS year. Nothing more to see here

As some have said, it's too early to get worked up about this. Maybe they are both solid, maybe they are both performing poorly. I don't see why anyone should be concerned unless we start missing easy kicks in games.

I know the problem. Neither of them can get a kick off because Irving is blocking them all. That could why he cant choose one so far. CPR just refuses to allow the press to know that Irving has become such a beast so he said it was a dead heat.

IDK what flavor everyone else's Kool-Aid is but mine is better and I'm not sharing.

Benike was all big 12 in 03 ish IIRC. I do know that nobody tops ISU in celebration after an extra point or 30 yard FG is made.

This is the same thing that happened with Vanderkamp his freshman year. He was supposedly tied with another punter at the beginning of the year until that punter shanked two punts in a row and Vanderkamp has been punting ever since.
