This is obviously not a budget issue. Schools with a fraction of our budget have tons of uniform combos. Cincy is a great example.

I have heard that CPR is old school....likes the tradition of having set home/away uni's. Ilook at the current combo staying for quite some time.

Yeah, there's probably something to that. Also, I think he's all about setting up ISU as a brand. That means presenting a consistent image of ISU, not changing every week like Oregon.

Personally, I would love a few alternates here or there, but I'm not in charge.

I agree that I like the consistency too. One small tweak I wouldn't mind seeing though is trying a flat colored helmet like Baylors rather than the shiny glossy current helmets we have. I thought Baylor's looked pretty sweet. While it is a trendy thing, it is a fairly minir change and I think they are pretty cool.

I like the all white tx uniforms a lot so i think a white uni with simple red piping would be awesome.
And i think our unis look way better than usc.

It's funny, the longer we've had these uniforms, the more I really like them. I wouldn't mind seeing how these would look with something like the Pro combat style collar though. I would like the white helmet with the aways though, I like the all white look Texas has too.

I really don't understand the hatred for the white helmets b/c I think they are mad sweet. And nothing is wrong with the topic appearing yet again. It's cool to read about the infamous white helmet that is entirely speculative. When it does happen, every hater will agree with the awesomeness.

There would be nothing cool about White helmets. Why is everyone so obsessed with it? I'd much prefer something more unique/modern like some of the Oregon helmets. White is lame and would be nothing to get excited about. Get over it.

Oh, and why the hell would we want to look like a buncha Texan steers out there?

Those will happen even if i have to donate to the cause. Id say we could play minnesota and wear them then but seeing that mn just cancelled games with the powerhouse of UNC (!) I doubt they'd play us. How about against iowa next year seeing as they wore throwbacks this year. They still have a team, right?
