Oklahoma game

Did anyone record the Oklahoma game? I will pay for a copy if anyone has one. My son was on TV (he's 5) and we'd really like to preserve it.

I have it on my HD DVR as well, yet have never tried to retrieve a program from it yet.

Best way to go about it?

I would suspect if you have a dvd burner or vcr that would be the only way. Cable companies and dish lock their machines down so you cant network pull files.

You should be able to burn it using a DVD recorder if you have one. Might be a way to link the DVR to you computer and do it that way?

Does your laptop have video inputs?

Yes but I must take the DVD/CD drive out and put in the video drive.

A torrent of it would be really cool. With the newest DishNetwork DVR you can hook up an external drive to it's USB port and store recordings there. Of course they charge you to enable it and I don't know what the format is. Anyway, my offer's still on table for a recording of the game. I'll pay $50 for a decent one.

My 7 year daughter was also on tv for that game and i forgot to dvr it. I need a copy as well.

I read about a way to get movies off a DVR but it's pretty exreme. It called for removing the hard drive from the DVR and installing it in a PC (they're just normal HDs) and then installing some software that transforms the DVRs format to something your PC can view. I don't have the link handy but I'm sure you can find it with a Google search. Not that anyone in their right mind would attempt it.
