Irving, Aka, and Bevins will give Iowa State one of the best DL's in the Big12 here in a few years...

Could Creekmur possibly walk-on to the bball team. Why'd he leave ASU?

*edit: Found this -- Chanse Creekmur leaving ASU basketball to pursue football

I wonder if he's talked to Fred about bball. If he doesn't play bball, I'm assuming he'd still have to sit out a year to transfer for football? Is that correct?

Anthony and Allen Lazard are brothers. Their dad Kevin also played for Iowa State. Rumor has it the younger one is leaning towards playing basketball in college which would give us a lot better shot at getting him at ISU if that were to happen,

Woody is just shy of 240, got to love the crack down that is coming there on 3 and short......
Ya, wow, since when did linebackers weigh in around 250 lbs. I guess thats what makes these guys really good if they can still move well at that size. I always thought that 250 lbs was DE type size and in fact (beside Irving) they are heavier than most of our ends.

It's good to see that Creekmur decided that he wanted to walk-on but I can't believe he is a Junior. It seems like just last spring that he was having to decided between football and basketball.

The last ISU LB that I remember weighing 250 lbs was Tim Dobbins. He wasn't too shabby.
