    Anyone going to Kansas game?

    Just ordered our tickets for game in Lawrence on Nov 17. Got room reserved near the plaza in KC. I love this road trip. Anyone else going?

    I'm getting married that day so no. And yes there will be a giant flat screen at wedding/reception... If I have to delay ceremony due to close game I will... Wait, we're playing ku I forgot... Ha.. (knocking on wood). Anyone have a clue what time that game might start?!

    Thinking about it for this season's roadtrip. What would you recommend as far as lodging, tailgating, etc? Buy tix thru KU or ISU, would prefer to be with Clone fans?

    Was thinking this might be a possibility.

    If i do go though it'll just be for the game, likely little tailgating as the atmosphere kinda blows there. Just would go to KC power and light district friday night, wake up, drive over in time for the game, and then leave right after the game for night 2 at p&l.

    Yup. I live in Lawrence. There isn't much for tailgating. Get there VERY early if you hope to find a spot near the stadium. Downtown bars are under a mile from the stadium. Should be easy to get walk up tix that time of year.

    This is the 3rd time we have done this for football and we stay near the Plaza in KC. The wives get some shopping in while we drive over to Lawrence and go to the game. Lawrence is such an easy drive from KC.

    If you are looking for the nightclub scene, stay somewhere close to Power & Light. For me, the shopping means that my wife looks forward to the trip almost as much as I do.

    Due to a snafu with my brother, we didn't order our tix from ISU. Getting ours from KU ticket office.
