Talking purely from my own professional financial management experience, which is not in college athletics, investors usually like to see at least 3 years of solid growth like this. So, I would tend to think we won't hear/see anything about a major SEZ project until 2014. Pending ticket sales still climb each year, of course.

Man this is awesome. The only thing that could drag us down compared to last year is lack of visitor attendance with Tulsa and Western Illinois compared to UNI and Iowa.

I think that is a good timetable, although if we get 6 wins this year, I think another uptick is basically guaranteed with Iowa and UNI as the nonconference home games next year.

We've had more tickets sold than actual seats for years and years now. The demand is already proven. Hell, with the student section sold out, that's another area of demand un-met (we could expand the student section if we bowled in both decks).

The case for doing it is as good as ever. Just need a lead donor.

Texas too. Next year's home schedule is much more attractive than this years.

This is without Iowa and without Nebraska. I wonder if after the TV contract is final we won't see some movement on the SEZ. It needs to be done, the space is needed, the money is close to coming in now, it is time. Piling people on grass hillsides for Texas, Iowa, UNI and OU isn't a long term realistic option for a Big 12 school. We could sell a lot more lower priced season tickets if we had the permenant seats. Rates are so low right now, would be crazy not to do it if there is any possible way to get it done.

Wouldn't be surprised to see it announced in the next year. Pollard will get it done.
