Ticket Sales
I was snooping around on cyclones.com and ticket sales appear to be going well for the first two games.
There are quite a few Tulsa tickets left, mostly unsold tickets in the visitor section.
There are about 100 tickets left for the Western Illinois game.
Just giving anyone a heads up who was looking to buy these yet but haven't. I think we will see great crowds for these first two games, which is really big considering we don't play Iowa or UNI at home.
Here's to 55,000 squeezing into the Jack next Saturday to watch an opening victory!

Re: Ticket Sales
I really hope we get off to a hot start this year. Can you imagine the crowd for K-State if we get off 4-1 (or even 5-0)?

Re: Ticket Sales
I hope we can get demand up to where we can buy up any visitor tickets that are left.

Re: Ticket Sales
I'd be curious to see how many are being held back so we can continue season ticket sales as long as possible.

Re: Ticket Sales
I grabbed some when they moved the kickoff from 11 to 2:30

Re: Ticket Sales
Football season ticket sales have now topped 39,000 and still growing. A record by nearly 1,500. Cyclone fans continue to amaze. -- Jamie Pollard (@IASTATEAD)
Pollard just tweeted this. Way to go Cyclone Nation!

Re: Ticket Sales
It doesn't sound like the crowd is going to be that huge on Saturday. There seems to be a lot of tickets left. Hopefully we can get over 50,000.

Re: Ticket Sales
It'll be a good crowd Saturday...not packed, but very good. It'll go as a sellout in the books though I bet.

Re: Ticket Sales
It will EASILY be 50,000+ on Saturday.
At what point can we start selling visitor section tickets to our fans? I've never understood why we have some games where the visitor section has <1000 people in it, and our hillsides are just packed.

Re: Ticket Sales
Many college students will head home for the three day weekend. Some of the normal crowd will be gone as well. I still expect 45,000

Re: Ticket Sales
I think we will be in the 54,000 range.
We will blow right through 50k....39,000+ season tickets. I think 11,000 single game tickets is a given for this game.

Re: Ticket Sales
The student section will be full. It was last year. The students who go home after a week of school aren't the ones bringing it on gameday anyhow.
We haven't had a September game under 48K since 2006, I think.
I'll go with 53,755 for an official attendance figure.

Re: Ticket Sales
I also see no way that we have under 50k for this game. No way at all.

Al essentially has no chance of winning the guessing game now.
