Iowa is way behind the rest of America and America is way behind Europe when it comes to trendy haircuts. Kudos to our FL and CA kids for making an effort. Lots of interesting haircuts on this team when I see them helmetless on the sidelines.
I disagree. I've had some terrible haircuts in Italy. Iowa might be slow on fashion, but haircuts is all about making hair fit the shape of the head. Hell, a few years ago the shaggy long hair that iowa kids have worn for decades was in style.
Did I hear Rhoads refer to our small and speedy wide receivers as "munchkins" during his press conference?

If ISU falls behind in the haircut race I don't see how we'll be able to get recruits!! All the best high school players are looking for a team that runs the fauxhawk, and we won't be able to keep up with the likes of Texas if we don't get with the times. We need to immediately fire the team's fashion coordinator and bring in somebody with a proven track record to design our style! Maybe the new FC can finally update our uniforms. I hear mixed patterns are the trend this year.
