How did he take it? Was he a tool?

I know... cool story bro, but that $%*+ was funny. Justin Toole. He *was* actually a solid player for Iowa. However, solid at Iowa translates to A level minor league.

One thing that hasn't been brought up is the fact that athletics, in my opinion, does help a University academically. It was brought up a lot during realignment but what if ISU wasn't in a major conference? Don't you think that would hurt as far as funding, grants, name recognition, and enrollment levels? I sure do. Therefore, by cheering against your school, you could really be hurting yourself and your future. Obviously not tremendously, but I think every bit matters.
Hilton Coliseum was specifically built to hold in sound with a solid concrete structure, steel doors, and a crowd that sits just a few feet from the court. With a fan base that frequently ranks among the nations largest crowds, players from opposing teams, as well as Iowa State, have said that the floor has shaken due to the loudness of the crowd -

He was frustrated from striking out, and was getting even more mad as he got heckled. I think he was really more surprised to be getting hawk hate 1,200 miles from Iowa than he was mad about getting heckled.

Sorry, being an UNI fan is just an excuse to root against ISU twice. (currently living in Waterloo and I get more guff from UNI fans than Iowa fans actually. pretty funny < The UNI people I know in eastern Iowa act like dooshes when ISU is in the conversation..Incredible wannabee syndrome. They're all diehard Hawk fans and a few I know even wore Black and Gold @ Kinnick when UNI (their alma mater) almost beat their adopted team in 2009.
who the fu- roots against their own alma mater?
pathetic. Have to glob-on to a D1 school. And they bag on ISU in front of an ISU grad. what a-holes
