who holds the school record for the longest field goal?
My first guess would be Tony Yelk.
I remember Shudak hitting a long one at the end of the UNI game in '87. It was 50+ IIRC, but I don't remember the exact number.
I am pretty sure Ty Stewart had a 57 or 58 yarder and one other kicker (perhaps Kohl) tied that. Not sure if anyone has beaten that.

honorable mention Mahoney made a 54 yarder against iowa last year.
Mahoney also had a 57 yarder against kansas i believe
Looked like it could have made it from 62 if it had been straighter.
