Coach Rhoads not taking any crap

In the post-game press conference, Coach Rhoads wasn't taking any crap about it not being an impressive win. He was just nailing the reporters with statements about how thrilled we are to be 2-0, as if their questions were totally stupid. He even asked the Cedar Rapids reporter why he didn't pick us to win. Rhoads is a nice guy, but he is establishing himself as the guy in charge, even during the press conferences. He did it some more in today's press conference also. We are so proud . . .

I loved the question about being favored this weekend. CPR: Are we?

It is a tough line to walk between being "Iowa nice" and treating some of these reporters like the idiots they are.

Glad to see how well Knott and McDonough present themselves. They are so easy going and humble, even after they make great plays to beat Iowa. Knott had a nice quote about how he was so glad to be making these plays for Coach Rhoads who believed in him and has given him every opportunity. Add one more tackle (on Ferentz) to Knott's stats.
