Wearing road pants at home
I was screwing around in NCAA '13 last night, and had our guys wearing the white road pants with the home cardinal jerseys. It looked a hell of a lot better on screen than I had initially imagined. I always thought you would need white accents in our jerseys to make it look good, but thanks to the gold stripe on the pants, it worked well.
I think it would be cool to see us try it for a game. Had a sharp look to it and ends the "USC knock off" talk. Not anything to switch to full time, but a solid alternate.
In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection. -

I don't care as long as they wear their big boy pants to every game.
"There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr -
Re: Wearing road pants at home
I could get behind that, and bringing back the red pants on the road occasionally as well

Re: Wearing road pants at home
Interesting... did you get a screen shot?
I'm not trying to reignite the uniform debate but I was thinking about gray the other night. Gray or light gray as our accent/supporting color made sense to me. Its the color of storm clouds and tornadoes and would look great with cardinal and gold. imo

Re: Wearing road pants at home
Cardinal pants, cardinal jerseys, & a cardinal helmet would be too much. We need helmet alternates like Baylor. One white & one gold (yellow). Would love to see cardinal pants and jerseys with a gold (yellow) helmet. And of course the all white uniform.

Seems like they did a few times late McCarney era, maybe the last year before I-State. Was that Chizik's first season?
They did look like Chiefs twins, but I liked them a lot. Edit: It was definitely pre-chizik, haven't been able to track down a pic yet.

And I hope you all appreciate the hard work I put in to that.

Re: Wearing road pants at home
I agree, was thinking about that last weekend. We should just wear the whites all the time. They look hellacool and ends the USC copy debate.
