The biggest one would be Raiderpower...although they aren't too friendly to some people over there. Let's just say that's a place that definitely has a reutation, and it's not a positive one. You must definitely have thick skin.

That's where the Leachers like to hang out, and still likes to see Tuberville fail.

Actually, we like to call him GLASCOW...and I'm still not real sure what the heck is up with that Gillespie situation. Is he REALLY that bad, and how did all of this not come out when they investigated his background...or is it more of the players are a bunch of panzies, and don't like old school coaches.

Either way, I'd expect him not to be around too much longer. As soon as his FMLA leaves is up, I think Tech will fire him, although it could be a situation where he "resigns" due to "health issues".

Gillespie is a good coach. I think Tech is just starting to build a reputation of running good coaches out of town.

He's a heck of a coach, but if he's done what he's being accused of, then he should probably go. And, Leach DEFINITELY needed to go.

I am surprised to hear this. I thought almost all of the Tech fans sided with Leach on this one.

I wondered how long it would take for "that guy" to show up. Longer than I expected, actually.
They say that English surnames came from what you did with your life. I'm so glad my last name isn't Dickinson.

I just don't think anybody should be able to treat the administration like he did, and be able to survive. I couldn't go into my job, and tell my boss to "F__ Off", and be able to come back to work. Sometimes we treat these coaches more than what they should be. We treat them as icons. If they are good people, treat the kids great, kids graduate, and become good citizens, BUT they don't win...then they get fired. If the coach is a *******, and treats people like slaves, and like he owns the school, but wins, then he keeps his job, and gets raises, and is treated like a God at said school.

Leach didn't recruit, and in fact cancelled recruiting trips to go do what HE wanted to do. Leach didn't fundraise for the school to help SUPPLEMENT his own income, and to bring about better changes. We are just now trying to get a nice videoboard for the stadium, and an indoor practice facility. He never tried to take advantage of the success people thought he was having, although 3-4 of his wins every season were against these same creampuffs that we are still playing. Leach didn't try to build a defense, and didn't even know some of the defensive players names. Leach was CONSTANTLY looked for another job, and it cost us in recruiting. Leach's lack of recruiting really cost us last year on defense. We had 3 walk-ons playing in the secondary, and also had a converted WR STARTING at CB for us. It's starting to cost us on the OL this year, too. If we have an injury, or two on the OL, we are screwed...just like at DB last season. Who knows, we might have to have punter playing OT (jk, of course).

Tuberville is actually trying to build a PROGRAM, and that only comes through recruiting. He's also trying to run the ball more, which I appreciate. He's not going to go for it on our 25 yard line like Leach. I'll take Tuberville, and his recruiting abilities over Leach's offense any day. Also, his fundraising. Tuberville is trying to recruit speed, something Leach didn't care about.

Leach will get a nice QB, or WR every once in a while at WSU, but he won't have the same success he had at Tech. He won't recruit, and just doesn't have the recruiting base he had in Texas.

Leach didn't care about Tech, and doesn't care about WSU. He only cares about his offense, and himself.

Fair enough. Interesting to hear this from the fans prospective. Sounded like there was a lot more going on than what people outside of Texas Tech knew about.

I like how you go all caps on some words for emphasis. It's very useful.

Where does this attitude come from? I'm genuinely wondering how you can think the RB discussion is even debatable. We are talking about two teams that just played a 41-7 game one season ago. Iowa State has four guys who I think could get carries and do big things with them on the 29th (White, Johnson, Woody, Nealy). Hell, throw Jantz in there because Barnett gashed your defense on the ground last year from the QB position, too.

Tech's first three games mean absolutely nothing now entering conference play. Same with the RB's statistics. Other than the destruction of three creampuffs, what gives you this opinion about RBs?

I would argue that ISU has a clear advantage with RB's and the WR discussion is debatable. Tech has five guys with 9 or more receptions, ISU has six. I won't claim to have any argument on which WR corps is better, but depth is something that Iowa State absolutely has improved this season.

I do not see where this Tech confidence is coming from. I get the sense from your posts that you're expecting a Tech victory. Can TTU win? Absolutely, but ISU should be the favorite. Do you disagree?

    There definitely was.

Here's a nice little video of Leach after a win against BU just in case you haven't seen it. He gets a little mad.

Anyone else see Tech's next six games?? Winning two of those games would be a HUGE accomplishment.

As for Gillespie, there are plenty of reasons his players don't like him. For one he is a dirty scum bag with a horrible attitude.
