People will probably chirp about those numbers being inflated by the incredible suckiness of Iowa's and Western's offense, but Wally's crew will have a chance to prove themselves against a legit Big 12 offense on the 29th.

Whenever somebody says that, remind them that 90% of teams play teams that aren't very good in non conference. So those #'s are still comparable.
Now it will be hard to keep those #'s up in Big 12 play b/c the offenses are so much better than most around the country.
We have been a decent D the past couple of years under Wally, with some hiccups. Hopefully no more hiccups.
Last year's stats for D:

OU

MU

The numbers don't look great, but against their avg our D did pretty well. We have started this year holding another good offensive team well below. Let's hope Wally keeps them rolling.

These are awesome statistics! TTU won't be able to run against us and they will be taking great risks by passing. I have a good feeling about the game in 2 weeks.

Our defense should keep us in games. It's the offense that continually worries me.
