Just so it's clear, I don't sit on third downs, I get up and yell just like most fans but It's terribly stupid to stand up the whole game in front of other fans, blocking their view. If you are in the student section, whatever is the groups pleasure, otherwise sit in your seat and get up when it's called for, not forever. Just like ignornt BB fans who do the same at Hilton, doing the same ANTICS.

Sorry, but this type of thinking results in mediocre home-field advantage. You can call those people ignorant and you can call yourself an "educated fan" as much as you want, but this isn't the mindset of a fanbase where other teams fear to play.

So it's clear, I'm perfectly fine with anyone standing and supporting our team when we're on defense. These people are passionate and they're supporting their team. Who are you to say "when it's called for" and that THEY are ignorant ones? Last I checked, success on 1st, 2nd, 3rd AND 4th down is required for a traditional change of possession. Why isn't it always called for when we're on defense?

I get it, some people can't stand for the majority of the game, but the point still stands (no pun intended)

The guy that wrote that probably complained about the speakers being too loud, or how we have enough room in JTS and we don't need to bowl in the SEZ. Standing and yelling should be incorporated into both football and basketball games. Just like the alma mater should be played.

On a side note Kansas State fans stood the whole game last year. Both young and old fans stood and yelled their hearts out. Loud stadium for how many people were there and for how crappy the weather was. That's the type of atmosphere JTS needs.
