Thread: Iowa State has the most favorable Big 12 schedule

    Iowa State has the most favorable Big 12 schedule

    looking at all the schedules this year, I have come to a conclusion that ISU has the most favorable schedule in the Big 12...

    5 home games compared to 4 road games in conference, lets win out at home and win 2 out of 4 road games and ISU will win the Big 12 by default...

    I am dreaming BTW....

    Well I don't see how this is an advantage over the other 4 Big 12 schools that also have 5 home and 4 away.

    Biggest thing that plays to our advantage is that we play ou, osu, and wvu pretty late so injuries could play a factor that equalizes us a bit.

    Since we're playing 9 teams, how is "comparing" 5 home games to 4 road games relevant? What are you "comparing" them against?

    I really like the home games and when we get them on schedule. The only games that don't give us any benefit is TCU and UT on the road. WVU comes the week after their showdown with OU so that is huge.

    I actually really like our schedule because we get most of the middle of the pack conference teams at home. That's a huge advantage.
