Just let JP worry about it, unless you have enough to be lead donor on pressbox or SEZ...he'll do us right and you might not agree or understand at the time but it will be the right call.

I agree. I don't think that ISU fans need to be perpetuating that myth. JTS is a nice stadium and a great place to watch a game. The only thing that even the nicest TX HS stadium has over it is that it's newer. When the SEZ gets done, JTS is going to be really nice. As far as the press box, if I could change it, I'd make it half as high and 2-3x as long. That would be a great press box for ISU and would stand the test of time well. Of course, I don't know how they'd do it with the concessions underneath.
As far as the SEZ, I think that if there's a $10M donor sitting out there, it's going to get done soon. If not, it's going to take awhile unless they can pocket $5M of the new TV/Sugar Bowl/playoff money a year for the next 5 years for a down payment.

...and yes...I do donate as much as I can every year before someone posts it. If you believe that, then you are truly an idiot.

Re: South EndZone
I have a feeling that this thing is closer than we realize. Yes, construction costs are down, and our revenue is up. But I believe that.a few donors and the university are ready to drive this ahead with our current capacity.
interesting correlation: record football attendance / record student enrollment.
I believe that next year we will have many games where you will not be able to buy a ticket.

The SEZ will happen but I firmly believe JP has some other ducks he wants to line up first.

...and yes...I do donate as much as I can every year before someone posts it. There are some nice high school stadiums in TX. Allen has the nicest I've seen and you can do a Google image search to see it. Southlake Carrol has a nice one too. But they're nice only in their design, and still nowhere as nice as JTS. And at our own level I still don't think that Snyder Memorial is as nice as JTS.

This is the best there is in Tx, and it looks more like Coe College, than College Station . As a fellow Cyclone fan, all I can say is, stop repeating stupid $h1t like this. In Allen, $60 million stadium not a big deal - Sports Fans, Teams, Stadiums, Page 2 - Fandom Blog - ESPN Playbook - ESPN -

I would expect a campaign to pay off existing debts before the SEZ happens. Could still happen in the next few years, IMO, but I don't expect an announcement anytime soon unless there's been some major donor action that hasn't been announced yet.
