About 6 years ago, a girl was kilhIled in an accident caused by a minor that had been provided beer. The occupants of the apartment were charged with providing beer to a minor.
I worked with one of the people charged.
He sometimes had problems with good judgment; donít we all. But the accident seriously f**d his life up. He was facing prison, legal bills, probation, and there was a civil suit. I donít remember what the judgment was, the price of a car IIRC. He wasnít a bad guy; I rather liked him. But what he did is what happens on a regular basis without consequences.
But for the grace of god, there go I. Providing alcohol to a minor is seriously stupid, a little like walking carefully on thin ice, and neednít be tolerated just because we have a drinking culture.
One time I heard about a teacher providing scissors to a kid under the age of 21 and he cut off his finger by accident. I know we live in an artsy culture but we need to regulate the age at which kids are allowed to use scissors cause one kid ****ed up. I think if we give kids that are under the age of 21 and in possession of scissors a 400$ fine we will protect everyone. This is of course for the benefit of society and not to make more money for the state.
Keep in mind this was a long time ago (Walden) but when I was a walk-on, we had a team meeting during two-a-days that included police representatives, and they talked to us for an hour about places and situations to avoid. That doesn't sound like the kind of behavior of an organization on an ISU athlete witchhunt.
That sounds like the kind of behavior that an organization on an ISU athlete witchhunt would engage in if they didn't want you to know that they were on an ISU athlete witchhunt.
Asteroids are nature's way of asking "How's that space program going?"
