What I learned is that KSU has equal talent to us and won @OU by making 0 mistakes. I expect another close game with them in Ames.

I learned one thing.. Collin Klein is still a monster. Is throwing is somewhat improved and he is an awesome runner. Going to need to stack the box and put helmets on the ball if we want to beat K State this year.

Second: OU has absolutely pasted KSU recently. Last year it was like 58-17 on KSU's field. It was a mismatch. This year with much the same players and on OU's field, KSU won. Keep this in mind when thinking about the "ease" of the TTech game this weekend. Alot of parallels IMO. We will need to absolutely bring it.
I think a lot of this talk about 41-7 is just to aggravate TTU fans. TTU will be a very dangerous team soon, maybe this year even. But I regress...

I don't know that it's that far away. We've played them close for 16 quarters in a row and they haven't played in Ames for five years. Not saying we're a better team or program, but they haven't convincingly beat us in forever despite never having to play road games against us.

I still think there will be an astroid hitting Jack Trice or something to cancel this KSU game at JT.

    Flaw free post.
I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

And the last time they played here they got beat by a team coached by the Chiz. Tough to believe it's been 5 years since they had to come up here.

Re: What we should have learned from KSU - OU

what is clear, is KSU is one of the most disciplined teams I have every watched play. I don't care for Snyder, but he is one hell of a strategist, and knows that mistakes are costly. They played with a lot of emotion, but inside themselves.

I do remember us almost beating KSU, but Snyder out-coaching CPR and co.

ISU would be one helluva scary team if we had that discipline.

The only thing I didn't like about that OU loss last night, was OU was the Big 12's best chance at a National Championship game contender, unless somehow KSU, Texas, or WVU stay undefeated, which I don't think is likely.

Too bad Auburn didn't win last night.

The Big 12 will continue to be far and away the best and toughest conference according to any computer model, but kill itself with the 9 game schedule while SEC teams play their FCS games late in the year to get "rest weeks". Not saying Big 12 is better at the top, but we make it harder on our top teams than the SEC does.

SEC has this scheduling thing figured out.

In college if the receiver is 'forced' out he can come back in bounds and catch ball legally. It's the NFL that it's 100% illegal to touch ball once you go out of bounds.

Any undefeated Big 12 team at the end of the year will be playing in the NCS. It doesn't matter who it is. I disagree with your analysis.

Landry Jones is awful. He has digressed so much in two years. I cant wait for them to come to Ames, I think we beat them this year.
