    Slingbox on a Mifi

    Fellow Tailgaters,

I searched, but I couldn't find a post on this specifically. I am looking at adding a TV to my tailgating. I have the generator and the TV. I was about to purchase a direct TV dish, but then I thought about Slingbox. Is anybody doing slingbox via a verizon Mifi? Is the bandwidth workable? Wondering if this is workable rather than purchasing a dish. Any gotchas to think about?

    Thanks in advance.

The bandwidth would be sufficient if the cell towers could handle the demand of all the tailgaters. I doubt the cell towers can. You'd be better off investing in a DirecTV dish.

I'd get something like this. Depending on your receiver you might need SWM though.
