They do a nice job of saying what they observe in a game, but they never really commit to anything at all. Theyll say i noticed that we ran a lot and some holes opened up which will lead to some possible play action passes in the future... well no shiz... I want to know if you thought the teams sucked, or were great... if you think they will actually beat Tech or Minnesota... Why? etc... etc.. not that you saw Holes opened during the Central Michigan game and that hopefully the running game continues to be a success during the season.

You can't get a true opinion out of McCann at all but I think that Austin really tells us what he thinks. He'll be hard on guys at times too.

My punctuation may not be grammatically correct, but a logical and rational individual should still be able to ascertain what I was saying. Spelling: If you can't understand my use of "tho", then I contend that is an indictment of you (Cyclonestate), not of me.

I agree. I always feel like McCann is afraid if he says too much, KF will make him run.

The Monday Morning QB segment is hands down the best segment on any of the shows on KXNO. The insight that both of them provide is fantastic, leave it up to a ******* tool like yourself to pick at the best ******* segment on KXNO. Let me guess you love the porn talk on TNT and the anything but sports talk on Queef and Fails.
Too bad Brinson sticks around for the segment. He asks questions that were already answered, he takes 30 seconds to ask his question and most of the time he changes the topic which is fine but he has no flow. Miller does a great job with those two guys and I love to hear their commentary.

Completely agree. Today for instance, Arnaud brought up the fact that in the past Iowa has been a "run, run, run, then play action go deep" type team. A caller asked why Iowa hasn't used more play action. Kyle said that they have, in fact he remembered Vandenberg throwing 4-5 comebacks off of play action Saturday. That is when the light bulb needed to go off for Brinson! He should have asked why James doesn't trust or think the deep ball is there in play action and why James is checking it down. Brinson just doesn't get it. He used to play tennis though, remember

I understood your use of "tho". My point was you shouldn't critique someone's reading comprehension with a response that is full of punctuation and spelling errors.

About everyone around my age from Creston idolized McCann, our hometown hero. Collin Bevins is the only other guy I can think of who went D1(at least since McCann).. well besides wrestler Andrew Long.

He and the Gerleman (sp) brothers were a tough out in basketball. I remember we beat them early in the season in basketball my senior year. Those were 3 pretty good athletes to be on the court at the same time.

KF probably would. He'd have to do stairs to as part of the standard "In House" punishment.

I really like the segment even if McCann has all of the personality and enthusiasm of an insurance adjuster.

It's good to hear from guys who have actually been there with both teams and can provide insight on both current coaches and their programs.

I also like it that our QB sounds about 1000 times cooler than theirs. GO AA!

Kyle should have played D-I basketball instead. He and Ben were as good a 1-2 punch as just about any in the last 20 years or so.

Side note: Kyle and I played QB at Creston together for 1 year. He was the frosh team QB, I was a JR and was the JV and backup varsity QB. Had I gone out my SR year, I'm sure he would have beaten me for the job.
