Will this game be a sellout?

I know that the WIU and Tulsa game were much more affordable, but the weather outlook looks great, yet theres tons of seats left for saturday. It'd be disappointing for a crowd of only 50k to be in attendance for a huge game. I've convinced 6 people to go that weren't planning on it, everyone get a friend to go! Hillsides are cheap too!! GO STATE, hoping for an awesome turn out on saturday

Judging by current sales on cyclones.com, i dont think so. 50k+, but probably less than W.Ill. It looks like we have decent hillside sales already (just judging by the color change from 'high availabity' to 'medium availability'), but we have at least a few thousand seats for sale in the actual stadium (quite a large price gap between the $20 hillsides and the $70 regular seats)

Kansas State however looks like it should be very well attended. You can only buy single tickets inside the stadium, if you want more your only option is hillside right now, weeks out. Unless the ticket office is holding back a large number of seats, that one looks like its numbers will all depend on the size of the hillside crowd, but with no other options available at this point, its numbers should be decently high.

Doubt it will be that high but I expect it to be in the area of WIU. Its only Tuesday plenty more tickets will be sold.

Not trying to split atoms but WIU was 55,700 and I'm saying 56K, so you're predicting within 300 ticket sales???

It was 40k... when the visitor sells their allotment it'll probably be a sellout. When the visitor sends most of theirs back (as it looks like Tech did) we have a couple weeks just to sell all of those. When the visitor sells theirs (as i'm guessing KSU will) we will sell out.

The number of reserved seats still available is disappointing. It doesn't help that Tech appears to be bringing the same 20 people that Western did, but I still thought there was enough excitement for the game to sell those tickets. I'd guess attendance will be around what it was for Tulsa. It will take a ton of hillside sales to clear 55,000 and make up for the empty reserved seats. No way we break the record, and we'll only get over 56,000 if we sell more hillsides than we ever have.

Now for Farmageddon, I believe K-State has sold out their allotment. That game should clear 56,000 easy and could break the UNI game record if JP is willing to sell enough hillsides.

Honest question. Isn't every game a sell-out as long as we sell more than 46,000 tickets? That's roughly our official seating, isn't it?

well some people on here were pretty confident the WIU game would only have about 50,000 and we managed 55,700. I'd say theres no reason why our 3-0 vs 3-0 conference opener on a beautiful 70 degree day/evening can't do the same.
