Id have to say the hardest hitters on the D has to be Jaques Washington or Deon Broomfield...

Id have to tip my hat to Washington, he is the heavy hitter on the team.

AK-47 and Jake Knott are both great fundamentally, and awesome linebackers but to lay a receiver out on the field there is none better than Washington.

All three line backers. It'll be interesting to see how much we see Jeremiah George though against the spread. I think we'll see some 4-2, and maybe even some 3-3 to have both JG and Broomfield on the field at the same time.

Do you know why I put up with this 'pitiful job', Mr. Donaghy, why I fetch these folks' lunches and clean up their barfs? Cause they make television. And more then jazz, or musical theater, or morbid obesity, television is the true American artform.

I would hate to run into our LBs in a dark alley. AJ Klein looks like an ax murderer. Jeremiah George's neck is bigger than his head. And Jake Knott will kick the **** out of you with a twice dislocated shoulder.

Personally, I think that the LBs and DBs have both been really good. Outside of McDonough, the DL has its question marks. Depth is not one of them, but I'd like to see the DEs make more plays and Laing to be a little more consistent. Maggitt has seemingly turned it up a notch. The DL is decent, but the back 7 has been really good. One thing's for sure, the ISU D may give up some points, but they'll make you work for it.

Our course AJ & JK, I love George and what he brings as a physical run stopper, but Tech's gonna see a lot of the versatility of Deon Broomfield a the nickel. love this position at ISU since Terran Benton molded that LB/Safety hybrid.

We have heard a lot about the numbers of the TTU defence, but I have yet to hear about any particular players. Who are the guys to watch on the defensive side for Tech?

DE Kerry Hyder has been a force to be reckoned with at the line and S Cody Davis has a real knack for getting after the ball. And if foul words are exchanged look out for DE Leon Mackey the big guy has a temper (there was an on campus incident involving a nonathlete calling him out, it didnt end well...)

The biggest improvement for our defense has really just been DC Art Kaufman bringing in a simplified scheme allowing our players to react rather than over think everything... Im excited to see this D face a real team, know one knows how good we really are, this Iowa State team looks really strong so I hope we bring our A game.

Does Tech still have that Dousche from last year that had a cheap shot on the sideline? Cqolin Hubert or something like that sounds right?

I hope SJ jukes the **** out of him and he breaks an ankle. Literally.
