i think some tavern clones would be alright personally. they spend their money on iowa state stuff, bringing more money to the school. I would love for iowa state to have a huge brand. to be just walking into some dicks sporting goods in no where pennsylvania or some other state and find a selection of iowa state gear would be awesome!!

Iowa State is an easy program to sell because they embody everything that is great about college athletics. They aren't involved in "big time" recruiting, they aren't involved in scandals, they don't get nailed with NCAA violations while other programs get hit on a yearly basis (looking at you Ohio State, USC, Auburn, LSU, Alabama, Michigan, and Oregon), they have actual student athletes not kids looking for a televised tryout for the NFL, they have a down to earth coach that connects with people rather then some arrogant ***** (looking at you Urban Meyer, Nick Saban, Bob Stoops, Lane Kiffin, Gene Chizik, and Les Miles), and the fans.... How many other programs with ISU's historical lack of success can get 55,000 butts in the seats for home games?

Each time a sales clerk asks me if they can help when I'm shopping here in Michigan, I tell that I see they are sold out of Iowa State gear again. They leave me alone.
