Ive sorta become resigned to this team having a more consistent offense that's more dangerous, but still not being world beaters.....

So with that said, I would love for ISU to just go out and win an ugly and rough 17-13 game and be one of the more feared defenses in the league this year.

If they can't be some wild and crazy shoot out team, then I would love to see many *** kickings by our defense.

Nah, I don't think any of us need to see you drunk. Pretty much negates #7.

Frankly, I expect them to keep improving as the season wears on.

I'd like to see them mix up the coverages a little once in a while. Blitz a LB or S and drop a DE off in coverage just to keep the QB something to think about and guessing a little.

Im really concerned about this team's tendency to turn the ball over. I feel like our defense can keep us in every game, but our offense will choke away our chances of winning those tight games.

The result could mean we lose lots of close games and have a season of "oh we were so close to being 10-2" Instead we finish 6-6.

1. I'd like to see Jantz actually HIT one of those deep passes. ISU is going to need it to keep defenses honest.
2. Scott needs to show up. Right now he's the weak link on the D and IMO could be losing his spot to Morrissey.
3. Keep Hyde out of the backfield...we need a good game from Bykowski and Burris.
4. Woody running hard (back to normal) again.
5. No fumbles by Jantz.
6. McDonough and Laing pushing the pocket. I think that this is a necessity for ISU to win.
7. Lenz and Gary need to play a part. Young is a decent player, but Lenz and Gary are the two best WRs on the team and neither have done much so far this year.
