I have an honest question for everybody. Is it just me or does this coaching staff not trust SJ? I feel this staff is afraid of his turnovers and they start slowing the offense down so that the mistakes are limited after the first turnover. SJ is a different QB after that first turnover and it shows on the field. His confidence is rattled and he starts thinking too much.

To be honest I dont care who starts. I just want to win games and the QB play needs to be more productive. You first of all need to be accurate and make good throwing decisions. Secondly, you need to be a threat to run. You don't need to be a burner but need to be able to keep the defense honest. And last, you need to protect the ball and put the offense in the right position to be successfull.

I have been on the Richardson band-waggon since he got here and I honestly believe him or Rohach will be the starter next year. They are the type of QB this staff wants and I would not be shocked if things keep going the way they are...Richardson will be playing, if not starting, by the end of the year.

One thing for sure - with siix tough teams coming up, we will have to win at least one to even eventually win six games after KU and WVY wrap-up. We will find out if we have a decent qb or not on the squad.
