Easy to pick just one. Jantz no brainer. Dude averaged 0.4 yards per completion in the 1st half for a total of 3 yards. Stupid mistakes. Instead of passing to a wide open receiver he would throw it into double coverage. List goes on and on.

They were good until they got to tired to rush the passer. Right it's not there fault, but they sure didn't stop the run. LBs and DBs played outstanding. The only reason Doege had 300 pass yards was because they were always 10 yard dinkers that turned into 15 because of our tackling, or lack there of.

it's time for mess to get a talking to by Rhoads he calls plays like McCarney did, he's too damn conservative we had guys running open deep all night but it seemed like the "1" read was short instead of long, also running it twice into the line for 3 yards every offensive series won't work. frankly herman was 10x the OC than mess has been so far, shoulda hired outside the program

Sorry, not the popular choice, but that is ultimately what it comes down to. He gets all the accolades for the big wins, he should get the criticism for the losses. This is HIS team, there are no longer any players on this team that were not recruited by him.

I voted for the Offensive Line because they were "Very Offensive"....The Tx Tech D-Line had a field day all nite and Steel Kantz was a sitting duck and without a running game this offense mite as well keep sitting their Fat A***S on the bench.

You could make the case and it was mentioned last nite by eric that the next 6 teams are all better than Tech.

If the Offensive Line doesnt get better in a hurry it could be a six game losing streak real quick.

Oh well at Ia State we are still a basketball school trying and I mean trying to play football and its still not working.

It's a team game and a team loss.

We got out-coached.

We made ineffective adjustments. Tech had an answer for just about everything. Our offense was predictable.

PS: Who calls a play-action on 3rd and 10 while we are on our own side of the field?

The OL was horrible, just plain horrible, and if they can't get a push or protect SJ than it is going to be hard to do anything else, period. SJ did stink it up out there, but if the Clones could have run at all or protected at all he would not be put in the situation where he had to pass, and run for his life every time he had to do it.

I knew this team would miss Hicks and KO, it just did not show until last night. The OL coach has claimed all along that this years line would be fine, but so far TT and Iowa have man handled them up front. Iowa was just slow enough on the edge that the RB could do something.

For me its a combination of play calling, offensive line, receivers and Jantz. I picked Mess just because that was some of the worst play calling I have seen in years.
