On first down I said "Just punt it, you know you are going to in 3 plays anyways."

The girl behind me in the student section threw up... not sure if it was because of the product we put on the offensive side of the ball or if it was the booze. Either way it stank.

Did anyone else see the kid that the police took out of the student section. He was hammered and fell down at their feet. Pretty sure they had to drag his limp body out of the stadium.

Guy behind me thought that Arceo was attempting a 58 yard field goal. It was pretty funny listening to him try and figure out how far it was and add it all up.

Re: Voices from the stands: Texas Tech ed.

Some weird stuff happened in Section O. There was a Texas Tech fan and what I presumed to be his Texas Tech girlfriend (probably late 30s to 40s), and they were bugging some other drunk Iowa State fans that were about the same age. Anyways, at one point, the Texas Tech fan was doing some "grabbing" (that's all I'll say, it's a family site you know) with one of the Iowa State fans who was a lady. Awkward. Weird.

Later, some older people in front of them got up to leave after Texas Tech got the field goal. As the older guy was leaving he told the Texas Tech fan and the drunk Iowa State girl that they were being disrespectful and that what they were doing was inappropriate. He then left. As he was leaving the Iowa State girl b*tched out and started chasing the old guy down to the concourse. I never saw either of them again, but I'm assuming she spent the night in jail.

I was right at the edge of the student section and was a little weirded out.

I was 6 rows up by the end zone. Crappy seats. I have a bunch of friends that are female that think the closest you can get to the field, the better the seats. So I could only see about 20 yards of the field. The rest sucked.

We oughta sit by each other next game. I bet we could get some real chants going.

Not gonna lie, I started offering this one up, too.

Everyone around me was incredulous when we got the ball back with about 1:30 left in the first half and I muttered something like "watch this, they're just going to try to run the clock out and be forced to punt." Apparently they all thought we were going to inexplicably start trying to throw the ball down the field. I was just glad we got to halftime without giving up the ball.

Re: Voices from the stands: Texas Tech ed.

I bought tickets to the game from a member of CF... great seats, but when we got to our seats there was another couple sitting in them. I showed them our tickets just to make sure we were in the right row etc., and the lady sitting there wouldn't move at first. She kept telling me that she knew whose seats they were, that the season ticket holders told her that they were not going to be able to make it, and couldn't figure out how we ended up with the seats.. I explained it to her that I bought them from a gentleman that morning and didnt know who the season ticket holders were, nor did it matter because I had the tickets for the seats she was sitting in. Long story short, her bf or whatever he was moved and tried to explain to her that those were are rightful seats, but she just kept telling us that she knew whose seats they really were. Finally after repeated explanation she moved.

Got a nose bleed after a terrible 3rd down play at the end of the 3rd quarter.
The offense was stressing me out a little bit.
