Anyone have a replay to confirm? Here you go. I wouldn't call it PI myself but make your own call:

Re: 12 men on the field during Brun INT?
I don't remember TTU using many 3 man fronts. They might have, I just don't remember it.
Have to set up the throwback by formation. 3x1 to open up the weak side a little. Handoff on stretch play to TB, QB runs free down opposite numbers. Set the D up with a back offset weak so that LB has the TB and it really opens it up. Not saying it would have got them out of their D, but it would have been a way to exploit it a little. The throwback thing won't work for **** against press coverage. There isn't enough time. You are correct however with the run game. Somewhat depressing that against 2 man we couldn't run the ball and it's 5 on 5 up front. Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating. -
Re: 12 men on the field during Brun INT?
Not so much mad at the call that I am frustrated with Jantz's read. Safeties started 2 high, 1 rolled down into the box on the snap and he threw a 4 vertical route to the side we were 2 on 3 instead of 2 on 2. From a WR perspective, the only one remotely open is the slot on the left. Originally Posted by ISUAgronomist Here you go. I'm not sure thats enough to be called, but I am pretty upset at Ag that this isn't in HD.

From a WR perspective, the only one remotely open is the slot on the left. They rolled into Cover 1 so if that safety is coming from the second "T" in State and was just reading the QB's motion both slot receivers would look equally open. Would be nice if the camera panned a little wider so we could see how the free safety was set before he broke on the ball. If he was on the "T" or "E" like it looks like in the video, he made the right read. You don't see the FS come into the video until 0.18.xx and he's just outside the hash marks on the TTU 49 yard line so I'd venture a guess he broke from the bottom of the E as Jantz released it. Either slot guy he's forcing it into double coverage and getting the receiver smoked. There were no real windows to throw the ball through.

Interfering with our sideline reporter might be a d*$& move, but I don't know if it's a penalty.

I'm pretty sure Ben could still take any Tech D-Back.

Re: 12 men on the field during Brun INT?
I see what you are saying. I'm trying to get a feel for Jantz looking the safety off and it doesn't look like he does that at all. Need to give him a reason to go one way or the other.
I'm not a fan of a 4 vert play hardly ever. seems like such a backyard, "I give up" type of play, unless there is some sort of underneath route to it, which it looks like the RB is checking and releasing. but even if the ball gets to him, he has 2 tackles to break to get a 1st down. Brun running a dig route there or the post would've been golden there. One on one as the safety has to stay back for a streaking receiver and a LOT easier pass for the quarterback to make once the receivers have cleared out the defensive backs. Faking the out route and breaking back to a post route would've toasted the linebacker trying to keep coverage.
I know people have complaints about how much we throw to the middle of the field but a lot of it seems to me like play design. We love corner routes way too much and they're a really tough play to connect on.

Anyone else see #9 for us just get completely laid out during that Brun-interception? Never noticed that in the game, but man keep your head on a swivel kid don't know how he got up.

Re: 12 men on the field during Brun INT?
A guy behind me thought so, but then again, he *thinks* about 90% of the punts the other team does have potential to be a fake. -
