I'm feeling optimistic what about you?

I did my fair share of being a negative nancy this past week and had my own meltdown just like all of us did, but I'm feeling really good about saturday in terms of offense. I mean after saturday it can only get better right? I think Steele will learn, theres no way he won't be focused for saturday after his performance, he knows he was badddddddd and pretty much threw the game away, literally. I think we come out guns blazing and put up 21 by halftime. GO CYCLONES

It's all up from here! The offense will be fully prepared and I'm guessing Mess will be extra prepared after his screw up this past week.

Nope, not too optimistic here. The offense has a LONG way to go. A long way. Tech's defense cannot possibly have improved as much as our offense made it look on Saturday night.

The offense can't get worse than what it was last Saturday. If your not optimistic, you're being a Squidward.

I was only in meltdown mode until I fell asleep on the car ride home. When I woke up Sunday morning I was in victory mode for this weekend. CF forums should shut down for 24 hours following a game.

Lol, personally I like the idea, but that's the busiest time on the website

Hopefully Steele fumbles the ball early enough that we can get Barnett/Richardson in quickly enough to salvage the victory.

I try to be optimistic about this game...but very cautiously

We're playing a better team and not at home, why are we optimistic?

Aside from Tech, I'm not sure what happened to the offense. Apparently the OL hadn't made as much progress as I thought. On the other hand, I'm not sure that TCU's line can do everything Tech's did--and our defense should eliminate their little "mistakes" that Wally talked about.

I've been feeling a little better as the week has gone on. I'm optimistic the offense will improve. Can't get much worse, at least I hope not.

I think we have regressed every game since Tulsa, you could see this coming after the Iowa even with the turnovers we should have blown them out...hopefully the offense has hit bottom and the defense doesnt start to wear down.

I agree. Tulsa was our only decent game offensively IMO.

I can't be optimistic about facing possibly the best or 2nd best defense in the Big 12 (per Chris W.) on their home turf. We might not score offensively. I hope to God I'm dead wrong, but how long did our defense outscore our offense this past game against TT? It was a long time.
