    7-day forecast, t-storms/rain Saturday

Thoughts? Chances are the forecast will change about a dozen times between now and Friday evening. (Sorry Cyclone meteorologists.) Assume we get substantial rain, first blush tells me this really favors Klein, Hubert, and KSU. Will be interesting to see how this impacts the game plan.

Not to mention it might hurt attendance and atmosphere which I think is one of the more important things.

In a sloppy game I love to have a defense like ours. Of course I also love to have a team that holds on to the ball like KSU.

I think if it's sloppy we hammer them with a heavy dose of Woody and JB. They are both mudders, it's in their bloodline.

Hmmm we had thunderstorms and a delay Dec 10 or whatever against them last year and it really didn't favor them one bit... But go ahead and assume.

If it is forecast rain now, it will be sunny in seven days.

I'm seeing a forecasted high of 70 with a 60% chance of showers and 11 MPH winds from weather.com. Nothing terrible.

Then I go to weather.gov and see a forecasted high of 61 with a 50% chance of showers. Who to believe?!?!?!?!?!?

Ugh... looks like a pretty decent soaker lined up if it holds.

Actually for as far out as it is, there is pretty good consistency across models (that I've looked at) and over time.

Pack the poncho at this point.

At least it doesn't look to be too chilly. I'd hedge to the upper 50s, low 60s at this point, but really too early to be for certain given the rainier forecast.

Kirby had better warm up his leg if this is what the coaches have as a game plan.

    ALL IN BABY!!
We'll be driving in from Sioux City, we haven't seen rain for 3 months.

We have ponchos, rubber boots, hand warmers(two in your back pockets become butt warmers)
    and foam seat cushions.
So bring on the weather, as for me and my family we are CYCLONES, not fair weather cyclones.

Haven't seen KSU at home in four years.
    BRING IT!!
    All IN!
LETS be loyal and true and support the boys.

    GO CYCLONES!!

    Re: 7-day forecast, t-storms/rain Saturday

Those rainy days just above freezing temps are the tough ones. 60-70 degrees and wet is nothing. When our kids were really small we skipped them but now they can just deal with it. The bonus of cold games is they break out the hot chocolate and I get a new coffee cup for school.

Hm. Combined with the 11am start, this may put a bit of a damper on our tailgating. Gametime is a different story though, poncho up.

MNCYWX is right...it has been pretty consistent in a few of the models...first noticed this early this week and it hasn't changed much.

But I wouldn't panic just yet. This system is still off-shore over the pacific, and it is a cutoff low, so the timing and this point is more or less a crapshoot. Could still very easily vary from Saturday morning +/- 24 hours or more....though slower is probably more likely than faster.
