He's a big, big man. When I saw this live, all I could think was his (presumably) full-out sprint to the end zone looked a lot like me walking at an average pace.
Awesome. This replay never gets old!
When this happened, I literally spit out my beer and **** my pants. I then proceeded to almost break a couple of chairs at the bar in sheer excitement. I glanced over at the bartender thinking he was going to be mad, but he was just laughing and cheering with me.
I had just been saying to my living room "It's time for a pick-6. We need to seal this thing."
Then came the jumping from chairs (because I'm a bad fan at home and watch my TV from a chair) with the yelling.
Only 480p?? I need more p's!!!
We tackled each other in the stands just like they did him on the sideline! I've got a boot print on my ISU pullover and a bruise on my cheek from the bleacher as we crumbled under the weight of each other climbing over the top of the other to high-five. We were pretty stoked for him.
Such an awesome play. On a total side-note that LT for TCU is going to be awesome. Dude was a true freshman and going against our best pass rusher all day and he hardly got beat. I was surprised we didn't give him a harder time.
Can't believe this didn't get SC Top 10.
I've been seeing some good things from Irving this year, especially helping to make tackles at the ends of plays downfield or on the sidelines. However, I am really glad to see him getting up to block on the pass rush. Hope to see much more of this.
Where is the hands on the face penalty on that right tackle?
The play before: "Where's Lenz been since Tulsa?"
On the next play: "Oh F***! F*** this! Typical Iowa State! Oh! Oh my God! OHHHH! LENZ!"
Turning nothing into something. Baller status, JB.
I think I need a still from that to update my avvy.
Umm...any help? Please?
i dont think anyone realized irving actually had the ball until he was at about the 10 yard line. great play irving!!!
