K-State opens as 7 1/2 point favorite
Favored by a touchdown. That is closer than I expected. I figured it would be more in the 10-12 point range. http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-...3-12/time/1200

10-12 before or after factoring in home field advantage?
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

Good grief...even with our recent success I would figure it would be 14+. Maybe vegas is still smarting from any losses they took on the Okie lite game last year.
Good times on Hawkeyenation.com after the 2010 Wisconsin Game! -

Might be thinking that if kansas can do that, a more capable team like ours has a decent chance.

Re: K-State opens as 7 1/2 point favorite
If I were an impartial betting man, I would take that in a heartbeat. Unfortunately I can't separate my feelings from this game. I figure I could take K-State giving the points and if ISU wins, I lose my bet but am still happy. However, that 7 point range that could completely ruin my day still spooks me.

5.5 or 6 is what he says Kinnick gets.

Kind of nice to see, that gone are the days when we're 30 point dogs to somebody! -
Re: K-State opens as 7 1/2 point favorite
Maybe its because the only 3 KSU games Ive seen were OU, Miami, and KU... but wow.. to think of playing within 7 points of them would be awesome.
Totally jacked for this game. Hopefully still within a few scores in the 4th to keep it interesting!

Too many times we've had an electric crowd show up only for us to **** the bed. UT last year, Utah the year before. To keep growing as a program, not only do we need to keep increasing our wins year over year... we also need to eliminate the losses that just suck the air out of the fanbase.

I'm not a betting man, but that's a really close line.
