Why in the world does it take this long for them to post a game time? I am a student trying to plan around classes, and my parents are making sure it will work to go a few days before my grandpa has a big surgery. We have tickets, but this whole indecisive start time thing is a joke

Think in TV terms: Matchups, ratings, and ad rates. This is basically the networks telling us to prove ourselves. Our performance Saturday determines directly where we end up.
When you want to climb the mountain, you have to play the game. This is what getting national notoriety and respect entails.

Because we have a TV contract that is worth $200 Million every year, so TV networks want to make sure they are getting the best return on their investment.
Can't we just go back to the old days when all home games started at the same time no matter what?
Yeah all this having games televised nonsense is really messing with our routine.
