Better than **** hole week like you have every week in Manhattan.
They say that English surnames came from what you did with your life. I'm so glad my last name isn't Dickinson.

Sorry, we really can't help it if Iowa, Tech and K State all mark the game against the Cyclones as their Super Bowl.

Re: Who would you rather Upset?

I really want to beat KSU as this game is next. The sad part is, the way they pull out so many close games, beating them should not be an upset. Yes, they win most games, but never dominate a good team. It is like luck is on their side. I feel like a couple of plays different in all their games and they are mediocre again. Beating two top 25 teams back to back would be great, but stringing those together with a wins at OSU and against Baylor would be a huge statement. Big challenge, but very doable. Then beating OU at home after that run would not be an upset.
Friends don't let friends wear black & gold. Build a man a fire, you keep him warm for a day. Set a man on fire, you keep him warm for the rest of his life. Set a hawkeye fan on fire, you make Iowa a better place to live.

Playing mistake free football is one facet of being a good team. KSU does and has done a great job of this every since Snyder's return. They also consistently rush the ball well and keep hammering it on the ground. That keeps the ball away from the other team's offense and keeps their defense on the field. That pays off in the end. While generally not overpowering, they have a formula that consistently wins games.

I have no problem with calling a hypothetical win over this pretty darn good team an upset. If Iowa State doesn't find a way to beat them this week I would be fine with them going on to win the national title (I know, I know, a long shot at best) and Snyder re-retiring after the season.
