Best KSU Game Memories
Not many since Snyder, but the one with the streaker in the early 90s was great. It was freezing that day. That guy had some balls!

But seriously, I didn't think that was the KSU game with the streaker in 1993. I thought it was for OSU and NIU? Anyway, that was a great win, but it was COLD!

I was on the sidelines and the guy ran right at me. The police walked the guy very slowly out of the stadium making sure the guy froze his *** off.
I think K-State was ranked that year as well and ISU pulled off the upset. Maybe a having a streaker this year could seal the win for ISU. -
Re: Best KSU Game Memories
In 2007-had a very drunk obnoxious KSU chick sitting with her ISU friends behind us She kept screaming the K-S-UUUUUchant when they'd score. One dude turned around and said, "Seriously?" and she replied I am just cheering for my team! Every time ISU scored everyone in the area laid into her. She left beginning 4th quarter.

Re: Best KSU Game Memories
In 1977, with starter Terry Rubely sidelined for the week, a fresham out of Albert Lea, MN named Vinny Cerrato stepped in for the day. He basically handed off the Dexter Green as much as possible, enjoyed protection of an awesome O-line featuring fellow freshman Brian Neal (Patrick's dad), and did what it took to win. It was probably one of the more boring games you'd ever seen. I don't recall a single pass attempt by ISU, and K-State was gawd awful in those days. But it was a win, and as I recall, the only game he started at QB in his career. This is the same Vinny Cerrato who, until a few years ago, was with the Washington Redskins front office: Vinny Cerrato - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Looks like nowadays he is leading the good life, hosting the late morning show on 105.7 The FAN in Baltimore: Vinny & Rob « CBS Baltimore
A great gig if you can get it!

Re: Best KSU Game Memories
I was hoping a thread like this would present itself. I can't remember which year I think it was pre-Danny Mac I was at the game with my younger brother. We were in the upper Deck and it snowed before the game so my brother and I had a snowball fight with KSU fans.

Re: Best KSU Game Memories
As a K-State fan, I have been to MANY games in Ames. My first was the 1993 streaker game. The oddest thing is K-State was winning the game before the streaker happened. Then BAM! Streaker running across the field right at us. After that point, Iowa State turned the game in their favor and won the game. COLDEST game I have ever been to.
Was also in Ames in 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007. So my best memory was the 2003 game.
